Did you know Eastham recycled over 210 tons of cardboard in 2024? That’s material saved from the incinerator, revenue earned for the town, and valuable fibers given new life as boxes, packaging, or even tissue paper. Recycling cardboard takes 75% less energy than making it new, and with nearly 97% of cardboard recycled nationally, it’s one of the biggest environmental wins. Just remember:

• flatten boxes, keep them clean and dry\
• put paperboard (like cereal boxes) in the mixed paper bin.
